This Weekend
I actually have plans for this weekend, so I figured I'd blog about it.

Tonight, the PENS take on the Ottawa Senators in Game 2 of the 1st round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs. Unfortunately, it isn't on national TV (boo) so we have to actually leave the apartment to watch the game.
So, it's my job today to figure out a decent sports bar to have dinner and watch the game. We went to a place before called Fox & Hound, but they didn't have sound on any of the games on the TV's so it wasn't very cool.

Saturday afternoon will be THUNDER OVER LOUISVILLE! I have been looking forward to this for months. I really love fireworks, and this is supposed to be the biggest display in the USA (although, I think all fireworks displays say that.)

Thunder Over Louisville is an annual event that kicks off the Kentucky Derby Festival, which is a 2-week long party leading up to the Derby. Apparently this town is all about parties and festivals, because they have some kind of festival leading up to pretty much everything.
On the down side, the weather outlook for the weekend is pretty grim. It's supposed to be cold and rainy the whole time, which is a huge bummer.
I hope it doesn't ruin the first weekend I've had with actual plans in a long, long time.
I shall not let it dampen my spirits!
