Wanna Wide Bikes?

Today when I got home from work, it was still 70 degrees outside and sunny, and I needed to go to the post office.

SO I BUSTED OUT THE BIKE!
WOOT!

Our local Post.

Self portrait while trying not to fall down.

Look at all those gas-guzzling jerks.

I look TAAAAALLLLLLL.

The fire hall where we vote.

This is a really neat house with a shed/barn/thing that it looks like they're renovating. It looks super excellently cool and old.

When I got back on the bike after taking this photo, I saw/heard the owner driving along on an ACTUAL TRACTOR. It was incredible.

And that was my bike ride to the post office.

1) Are there any people in your town? It looks pretty vacant. I am itching to get on my bike, but I have to drive somewhere to ride it since there are about a million cars on the road here. That's pretty ridiculous.

3) Looks beautiful! We had a similar day but with 25-30 mph winds. The rides to and from work sucked big time. We always seem to have crap weather around here no matter what. If it's sunny and calm, it's cold. If it's warm and sunny, it's windy. Can't win. Only can move.

7) Betsy, every time I look at that picture on the home Humzoo page, I find myself nearly turning to see the biker coming up behind me. I think the bikers here have me well-trained to observe, listen and walk defensively.

8) Thanks guys! It's hard to hold a camera whilst riding a bicycle. It's alot more dangerous than it looks.
It's probably equivalent to talking on a cell phone while operating a vehicle :)
