My Package Experience

I would be lying if I said that this weekend wasn’t a blast. I would also be lying if I said that I wasn’t totally exhausted today :)
I guess I knew it was crazy when I got into this whole project, but I had to do it anyway. An opportunity like this doesn’t come along often, and I have been known to be a little adventurous.
The driving wore us out the most, I think. The GPS computer machine has never caused so many fights and disagreements between Robbie & I. We both came really close to throwing the thing out the window.
This weekend will forever live in infamy with us. We got to meet some really great people, even though it was for such a short time. It’s going to be SO awesome to keep up with WillnBek and Kisa on Humzoo, after actually meeting them.
I can’t wait to track The Package across the rest of the country! (From my home, in my PJ’s, not in the car.)
Not many people get the chance to be a part of a community like this, and I am certainly proud to be a Humzooer.
I can’t tell you how many people have said, “Wouldn’t it be cheaper to just mail the thing?” But those people are stupid and totally missed the point.

Getting my hands on Will’s Huge Package: Priceless
We owe you big time Betsy!!! Please come out to Teton Valley someday so we can treat you to some fun Teton Valley style. Maybe Will and Beka can come out at the same time and we can have a humzoo bash!!
If we are ever in your neck of the woods we would love to come and meet you and Rob too!
BTW, I left some extra stickers inside one of the box flaps so you don't have to keep the giant cardboard box. hahaha.
When Will first introduced us to his package and threw out the whole idea of shipping it through Humzoo I thought it was a novel idea and something that would be fun to do for sure. But I never really thought it would happen. Little did Dave and I know that this thing would become a reality. But we watched it come together and that's why we dedicated a separate page to the event, and we both think its the coolest thing ever. We're still completely blown away and it only gives us more confidence that Humzoo is something special.
Thanks again to WillnBek, Betsy and Rob, Kisa and Chris and Emmy Ann and Todd for making this thing happen. No doubt it will be something that each of you will remember forever.
As for getting a story in the newspaper, I have found out recently that its not that hard to do if you have a good story to share. Each of you involved should totally contact your local paper and tell them about the story. Send them a link or tell them where they can see the entire story on Humzoo. Dave and I would be happy to give them any background on Humzoo or how this all came about. Just let us know how we can help. This story is truly awesome and more people should know about it.
Emmy Ann you could maybe even get something lined up for the arrival and get some local coverage from your newspaper or tv station. That would be awesome!
