This is Why I Hate Golf.
Portion of transcript for Media Day news conference at 2008 PGA Championship in Detroit, MI
BRIAN WHITCOMB: We are proud to welcome our defending PGA Champion, via satellite, Tiger Woods. Tiger, thanks for joining us.
TIGER WOODS: How you doing, Brian.
BRIAN WHITCOMB: Good, buddy.
JULIUS MASON: Mr. Woods, Julius Mason here. We're joined by about 75 of your closest friends and I think off the top of their head they have one burning question for you, Detroit or Pittsburgh tonight? In the Stanley Cup finals. (Laughter.)
TIGER WOODS: That's pretty good. I don't really care, let's talk about the Dodgers. (Laughter.)
JULIUS MASON: Politically correct as always.
TIGER WOODS: I don't think anybody really watches hockey any more. (Laughter.)
................................................
Wow. Thanks Tiger. Totally awesome that the ambassador for the sport of golf would say such a thing about other athletes, who put themselves on the line every night, MUCH more than he does on the golf course.
You can bet your ass that Sidney Crosby would NEVER say anything like that about golf.
Tiger should be ashamed of himself.

1) Haha. Awww...Betsy. Lets meet in p-burgh, Pick up Ben and Sydney, then find Tiger and hang him by his under-roos to a tree.
2) Careful now ladies!
3) Let's do it, Hayley! I would like to see Tiger try and stand up on skates!
4) I want to see him drive off a tee in skates, on ice. Now that would be a laugh.
5) There's a good article comparing the two saying, Ryan Malone can take a slapshot to the face with an already broken nose, and come back in the next period and play, yet Tiger gets pissed when a camera shutter messes up his shot...
6) what a turd.
7) If you're a sportsman you need to learn to cope with things like that without blaming poor performances on something arbitrary.
8) Dear Limey, that's sporsLADIES! And a turd's a turd no matter.
9) I was referring to Tiger blaming a bad shot on a shutter.
10) ...right...sportsLADIES...hehe. j/k.
11) "sporesladies" just sounds plain weird Hayley.
12) ladies of the mold.
13) yuk :-)
14) Tiger, just fake it for one question and give an answer.
15) I won't argue that your boys of hockey can't grow better facial hair than golfers, but it'll be hard to catch Tiger running in skates...
