The Mighty Shoo
My favorite neighbor, The Shoofly, was featured in the SJR recently for being totally awesome.

My dad even emailed me the article.

I am a big fan of the photo they used in this article. Little Shooey looks so grown up!
However, I have known Shoo a long time, and this is just not the way I remember him in my favorite memories.
So, in neighbor vs. neighbor tradition, I have put together a montage of photos of my favorite next-door-Shoo for your viewing pleasure. Hopefully, if there is ever another writeup in a local publication, one of these photos will be chosen to document Shoo's awesomeness.
Shoo, love ya like a brotha!

Fun in the Gladish backyard, with neighbor Kyle and Mike Jones.

Shoo was never very good at basketball. I always knew acrobatics was his true calling.

Shoo with his lovely date before Invite Freshman Year at SSHS (I think.)
Not to single out poor Shoo, I had to add some photos featuring Yours Truly. Which are some of the best photos of me and Shoo OF ALL TIME.

Not really sure what this was all about, but I think we were planning on using it to blackmail Shoo at some point, since he is obviously at a drinking party with a bunch of hot chicks. (This surely would've backfired, considering the photo was taken at MY house, featuring ME and my SISTER, and our neighbor Carrie.)

Congrats, Grads! I love you Shoo! I wonder what we were thinking of our future back then :)
Last but not least...

SSHS Senior Prom. This is THE best photo ever taken. I am so in love with it, I think I might print it out poster size and put it on my wall.
I hope you have enjoyed my Ode to Shoo.

And the picture of the two of us, another one I forgot about! Damn sophomore dates ditching us!
I had Carrie come over and have a look (since she does not know the secrets of the intertubes at hm). She was laughing too.
Wow, thank you. I am so lucky to have you as a friend :) (minus our squabbles about races) Thanks again, this made my day.
East side queens 4-life!
