1) When I first saw that picture I thought it was some kind of pastry with ground beef and cheese! Either way, it looks pretty bloody tasty.

4) Absolutely homemade. (they do not contain beef and cheese, but that sounds delicious.)

6) Betsy, I really enjoy your food photo album. Do you watch any reality tv cooking like Top Chef? I like the idea of "real" people being able to create on the spot a brand new dish. I really admire someone that can really cook! I am rooting for Stephanie btw.

8) Dannie, you are probably right. Betsy, great job on the brownies. The oozing caramel always sucks them in! They cannot resist!!

Folks this recipe is so easy--the hardest thing is unwrapping the caramels. I bypass that by buying 5# of caramel in blocks but that's me. I hate prep work and I use caramel frequently so it is a good buy and I love the quality. Anyone can make this recipe with minimal effort.

Carrie, I'm sure Betsy will bring you turtle brownies when she comes. :)
