Is there a reason for it? At least at the same time nightly?

Not really... We are usually in there watching TV... so maybe he just gets bored around the same time.

HAHA..maybe. Thought he knew it was time for a treat or last time out or something. I had a friend in TN who had 2 dogs and a cat. Her husband would make a toddy around 9 every night and they all got a treat when he was in the kitchen. I would occasionally dog-sit for them and true to form around 9 PM they would start getting restless and coming over to stare at me or would race up the stairs from the family room in the basement to the kitchen and if I didn't follow would run back down and stare at me again. I knew about the treats so I would tease them occasionally and act like I had no clue it was 9 PM and treat time.

Haha. That's funny. Maybe this would be a good way to convince Joe to get another puppy!
