MLB Game #7: Orioles vs. Brewers

Susan and I are heading north to Milwaukee later this morning. This may be the longest gap between games at Miller Park. I guess our first game was so early in the season. Today is an interleague match-up against the Baltimore Orioles.

Today's pitching match-up is between Garrett Olson (5-2) and Manny Para (6-2).

Here are the current National League Central Division standings:

Chicago Cubs 47-28 ---

St. Louis Cardinals 44-32 3.5 GB

Milwaukee Brewers 40-34 6.5 GB

Pittsburgh Pirates 36-39 11 GB

Cincinnati Reds 35-41 12.5 GB

Houston Astros 34-41 13 GB

Great game. Since I have Prince Fielder in fantasy ball, it was even better. Now my Cubs just need to complete the sweep of the Sox. On the way out of the park, we bumped into former Oriole great, Jim Palmer. Very cool.

That IS very cool. I remember my mom drooling over his underwear commercials. lol. They showed him in the press box today... he looks good for his age.

Well, I'm sure you can figure out who I'll be rooting for tonight, especially after St. Louis lost to Boston in extra innings.

I think the commercial was for Hanes, Jim Palmer sure looked hot in his tighty whities,

Man, those Cubs are SICK (in a good way). They haven't lost at Wrigley since 1998... or so it seems. Congrats.

The underwear ads were actually for Jockey.
