Another Mad Dash to the Finish: Part V

Suddenly, I'm not too worried about meeting my goal of 800 all-time finds before the end of 2012. A few weeks ago, though ahead of last year's pace, I wasn't sure. I had no clue that we would gain a bonus week of 60 degree temperatures to close out November and start December.

In a blog on Saturday, I mentioned that I found six to bring my total to 777. On Sunday, I stepped out for about one hour and found five more. That gave me 782. Today, I had a lunch meeting with a client. That meant a shirt and tie. Slightly more formal than a typical Monday, but that meant I decided not to take a chance before work. And I certainly couldn't venture out at lunch. I decided to search for a simple hide very close to my office. Success! I'm now 17 short. I'm clearly ahead of the one-per-day pace.

Barring complete disaster, I don't think I'll be pushing the clock on New Year's Eve in 2012.
