MLB 2015 Game #2: Padres vs. Cubs
This afternoon, I'll make my first trip to Wrigley Field during the 2015 season. Due to fortunate timing, I may be on hand as a witness to Cubs franchise history.Friday marked the debut of the Cubs' highly touted prospect, Kris Bryant. During his major league debut, Bryant finished 0-4 at the plate with three strikeouts and he left five runners on base. It's possible that I could be watching live as Bryant records his first major league hit.
Today the San Diego Padres (7-4, .636) will send Tyson Ross (1-0, 3.75 ERA) to the mound. The Cubs (5-4, .556) will counter with Kyle Hendricks (0-0, 10.38 ERA).
