A little retro charm
On my way home from work today, I passed an old car on the Reagan Tollway (I-88). I must admit I am not too knowledgeable about old cars. I can recognize a 1957 Chevy, a 1964 Mustang, the Oscar Mayer Weinermobile and the 1960s Batmobile.
Somewhere around Lisle, I pull behind the car. It was a late 1960s or '70s car. Obviously, the driver spent some time restoring the vehicle. It looked like it recently received a new paint job. The finishing touch that caught my eye and made me laugh was the rear window sticker.

Here are the five World Series results during the Nixon Administration:
1969: New York Mets defeat Baltimore Orioles (4 games to 1)
1970: Baltimore Orioles defeat Cincinnati Reds (4 games to 1)
1971: Pittsburgh Pirates defeat Baltimore Orioles (4 games to 3)
1972: Oakland Athletics defeat Cincinnati Reds (4 games to 3)
1973: Oakland Athletics defeat New York Mets (4 games to 3) - first during my lifetime
