MLB Game #11: Cubs vs. Brewers
Tonight, Susan and I are headed to Milwaukee for the Cubs/Brewers game. A few weeks ago, I assumed the Cubs would have held a slightly more commanding lead in the National League Central Division. The Cubs stumbled out of the blocks following the All-Star Game, and the Brewers pounded the Cardinals. Still, I always enjoy a game with heightened meaning in late July. Traditionally, I don't see too many of them which involve my team.
This evening's starting pitchers are Ted Lilly (10-6) and CC Sabathia (10-8).
As usual, here are the current National League Central Division standings.
Chicago Cubs 61-44 ---
Milwaukee Brewers 60-45 1 GB
St. Louis Cardinals 58-49 4 GB
Cincinnati Reds 50-56 11.5 GB
Houston Astros 48-56 12.5 GB
Pittsburgh Pirates 48-57 13 GB

1) Hopefully, it will be a good game, although, going against CC has me worried. Go Cubs Go!
