MLB Game #13: Mariners vs. White Sox
Tonight, I am taking my die-hard White Sox fan aunt (and periodic Humzoo visitor) to the White Sox game. This was her Christmas gift from last December. The deal was that I, her Cubs fan nephew, would take her to a game at U.S. Cellular Field. I never imagined that we would go this late in the season and both of our teams would still lead their respective divisions. This evening's starting pitchers are Felix Hernandez (7-7) and Clayton Richard (0-2).
As usual, the Cubs and Brewers are still atop the National League Central Division standings.
Chicago Cubs 76-48 --- (Division Magic Number - 33)
Milwaukee Brewers 72-54 5 GB (Wild Card Magic Number - 34)
St. Louis Cardinals 70-57 7.5 GB
Houston Astros 63-62 13.5 GB
Pittsburgh Pirates 56-69 20.5 GB
Cincinnati Reds 55-70 21.5 GB
