MLB Game #17: Cubs vs. Brewers

Today Susan and I are headed to Miller Park for the final regular season game between my Chicago Cubs and her Milwaukee Brewers. With a Brewers win and a Mets loss, Milwaukee will clinch the National League wild card. If both the Brewers and Mets win or lose, the two teams will play a tie-breaker game at Shea Stadium on Monday.

The Brewers will trot out CC Sabathia on three days rest to launch them into the postseason. The Cubs will counter will Angel Guzman.

Carrie, I will post some pictures from the game soon. We were right next to the Brewers dugout in the third row. We were soaked once the champagne came out. Too bad this was the expense of the Cubs. Good thing we are both in the playoffs. It was great to watch the final two innings of the Mets/Marlins game on the video board.

Bill,
Too bad you didn't have a HumzOo sign b/c I'm sure you would have been on TV. It was awesome! They showed the TV viewers you and the players watching the game on the scoreboard. It was so cool. They showed all of the players at the door of their locker room ready to go crazy during the final two outs of the Mets game... it was actually a split screen between them about to bum rush the door and the Mets game on the board.

Please offer a big high five to Susan for me!
