All you need is love...
...and to stop sending Ringo fan mail. He's too busy.
If you wanted Ringo Starr's autograph since you first saw him play drums with The Beatles on the Ed Sullivan Show, you better rush to your local post office. After October 20, he's done. No more signing autographs. During the video he never claimed to "have blisters on my fingers."
Helter Skelter anyone?
Ringo Starr, born Richard Starkey, posted a video on his website and issued his ultimatum. If any mail is marked October 20, 2008 or later, he's going to toss it. Of course, he stated this while repeatedly saying, "peace and love."
I'm curious. What does he have to do other than being a former Beatle?
On a related note, does anyone remember the Saturday morning Beatles Cartoon? Obviously, I wasn't born until after the Beatles officially split, but I do remember being introduced to them through their cartoon in syndication as a kid.
