Philadelphia Phillies: 2008 World Series Champions

In one of the oddest scenarios in World Series history, the Philadelphia Phillies defeated the Tampa Bay Rays tonight to claim their first World Series championship since 1980. Game 5 concluded this evening. The game resumed with the score tied, 2-2, in the bottom of the sixth inning. The Phillies would go on to win, 4-3.

I think our Brewers fans on Humzoo can at least find comfort in the fact they lost to the eventual World Series champions. Cubs fans, we should have breezed through the playoffs.

Congratulations to any Phillies fans out there.

Amber, I wanted to write something slightly more comprehensive, but we had a work Whirlyball event. Since the game was shortened, I didn't get to watch as much as I would have liked.

Dannie, now that the season is over I'll get a chance to write my book. I just need to think about organization. Hmmm?

Bill, how about printing out all your blogs and that might give you an idea for a format. You maybe able to do it just by reviewing them on the computer but I am more tactile (old fashion) and still like to write on a legal pad. I have not gotten the hang of creating on the computer. You clearly have a natural ability and I'm looking forward to following your progress!
