Cooking and Shoveling Has Begun

Today we our hosting our 9th Annual Adopt-A-Family Holiday Party. Even though our early crowd won't be arriving to until 2 or 2:30 this afternoon, I've already been outside shoveling the sidewalk and driveway and throwing down salt.

Susan has been in the kitchen since 8 a.m. getting the first wave of cooking underway. She just finished chopping some onions because my eyes are burning at the moment.

Sounds like a MW fall/winter party! :) You guys need some of those onion goggles. :) I'm sure it will be a fun day!

Can't wait to hear how it all goes. I'm sure you guys will be tired from all the preparation but will feel good about it all after it is over.
