Smashing Pumpkins, Take 2

A couple of weeks ago, Susan and I had tickets to see the Smashing Pumpkins at Roosevelt University's Auditorium Theater in Chicago. That show was cancelled early that morning. Fortunately for us, that freed up our evening. Our "Introduction to Fine Dining" event with our niece was rescheduled from earlier that same week and moved to the same day. An Elmhurst-to-Geneva-to-Elmhurst-to-Chicago-back home evening didn't sound relaxing at all.

I'm looking forward to show. Susan has always mentioned that The Smashing Pumpkins are her favorite band. She had the chance to see them on their farewell tour back in 2000. I never had the chance to see them play live before.

The show was fantastic. They played a great mix of new and classic material.
