Championship Sunday

In many respects, the NFC and AFC Championship games provide superior entertainment to Super Bowl Sunday itself. I'm not sure how many Humzooers still have teams alive in the playoffs, but I wanted to get any predictions before the games start.

In the NFC, I think the Philadelphia Eagles will defeat the Arizona Cardinals. Though I expected the Cardinals to lose in the first round, they have surprised everyone up to this point. The Cardinals have not won an NFL Championship since they were the Chicago Cardinals and played at old Comiskey Park.

Over in the AFC, the match-up is much closer, but I predict the Pittsburgh Steelers will defeat the Baltimore Ravens. Though the Ravens defense is good, the Steelers' offense and experience will prevail.

I am predicting an all Pennsylvania Super Bowl with Steelers hoisting the Lombardi Trophy in the end.

Any predictions?

Pittsburgh over Arizona in the SB... should be good games, though!

Seems like your wish might be granted. Arizona is up 21-6 in the second quarter. I know it's still early, but the Cardinals just may be pulling away.

I certainly never expected an Arizona Cardinals/Pittsburgh Steelers Super Bowl. The Steelers are going to destroy the Cardinals. Of course, i assumed the Eagles were doing to hammer the Cardinals earlier today.
