Game #1 - Craig (0-0, 0.00) vs. Bill (0-0, 0.00)
The first official game in league history found Craig McBeath matched up against Bill Pearch. For the first inning and a half, they hung zeroes on the scoreboard. The deadlock was broken when Bill took an early 1-0 lead in the bottom of the second when he hit the league's inaugural home run off Craig. The lead would not last. Craig answered in the top of the third with two blasts to take a 2-1 lead. In the bottom of the third, Bill would tie the game 2-2. Craig took the lead for good with homers in the top of fourth and fifth for a 4-2 lead. In the bottom of the fifth, Bill would tack on another home run, but fell short in the augural game. Craig recorded the first win in league history, 4-3. Craig recorded two strikeouts, and Bill none.
