MLB Game #14: Brewers vs. Cubs

This evening, I will make my final trek to Wrigley Field during the 2009 season. Susan and I are taking our nephew for his Christmas present from last year. We bought the tickets with the hopes that the Chicago Cubs might be close to clinching the National League Central Division for the third consecutive season. Of course, Susan hoped it would be a Milwaukee Brewers celebration. Our nephew is a Cubs fan. Based upon the play of our teams, both the Cubs and Brewers have been finished for quite a while.

Anyway, tonight's starting pitchers are Braden Looper (12-6, 4.77 ERA) and Rich Harden (9-8, 4.04 ERA).

What a disappointing season.

So, your cheering for your team will be loyalty only? :)

Since we don't have a prayer? Yes!

But, you'll cheer and you'll do it with gusto--even if you don't have a prayer. :)
