Super Bowl Commercials People have already started talking about Super Bowl commercials. Which spots will be funny? What will Budweiser do? How about Go Daddy? Each year we hear the same stories about how much they cost. Yes, companies spend millions on 30 second spots due to the exposure they'll receive during that one game. On television last night, I watched a show that played some of the greatest commercials from the last decade. Some were funny, others were simply dull and boring. I have just one request for this year.
Please, no talking animals. That's become so cliche.

1) I don't care for talking animals or babies. But I love Bud commercials. I still howl with laughter at the streaking lamb. The spot in this commericial shows a ram laughing hard and tapping his front leg - it is priceless. I also love the one where the horse fetches the tree limb and the where the dog helps the horse work out so he will be chosen for the team next time. These are great with no talking animals involved.

stheinz Thursday, February 4, 20104) When I worked in advertising we'd get to watch a reel of the Superbowl commercials our agency created before they aired...Pepsi was one of our biggest clients.
