Countdown to Opening Day - 56 Days Today, the attention of the entire sports world is focused on Miami and Super Bowl XLIV between the Indianapolis Colts and New Orleans Saints. Before everyone gets settled on a couch and plants themselves in front of the largest television they can find, I wanted to sneak a little baseball into Super Bowl Sunday. The other day I mentioned that I suffered my first serious case of baseball withdrawal. So, being the baseball junkie I am, I jumped online to settle the shakes. Here are a few gems that I found.

How about a Houston Astros Burger King commercial from the early 1980s? I still love those jerseys. Any chance they still have those IZOD shirts available?

Let's make a run for the border. No, it's not a Taco Bell commercial. Our other border. Gary Carter and his daughter star in a 7-Up commercial for the now defunct Montreal Expos.

Even though I am a Cubs fan who bleeds blue, the White Sox still have a fantastic opening video celebrating the team's history. They make subtle changes each year, but this is the 2009 version.
