MLB 2010 Game # 1: Mets vs. Phillies

A game that was billed as a stellar pitching matchup started out that way. Once the Phillies started to hit, the game transformed into a slugfest. The Philles won 10-0. Shane Victorino's home run was the game changer.

Here's the final boxscore:

It looks like you saw a good game for spectator purposes - 10 runs scored and good pitching from one of the starters (Halladay throwing a three-hitter). What did you think of Citizens Bank Park?

How did Jayson do? What did you think of the ballpark?

The park was very nice. I didn't expect a 90 degree day on May 1, that's for sure. Jayson had a great game too. All around, it was a great experience. Susan even managed to get my name on the scoreboard. I'll post photos when we return.

90 degrees??? That's way too hot for May 1!! Glad you had a nice time. Can't wait to see the pictures. I'd love to hear more about your name on the scoreboard!

I agree it is too hot for this early in the year. I'm hearing that temperatures may be in the 50s tonight for the Red Sox game.
