MLB 2010 Game #6: Mariners vs. BrewersToday, Susan and I are heading to Milwaukee to watch the Seattle Mariners play the Brewers. Seattle has lost two in a row while the Brewers have rattled off five consecutive wins. With the Brewers win and the Cubs implosion yesterday, the Brewers have claimed third place in the National League Central Division. The Cubs have fallen into fourth. Today's game was originally scheduled for 6:10 p.m., but was bumped up to 3:10 p.m. So, I guess we are getting earlier start than initially planned.
The Mariners will send Doug Fister (3-3, 2.45 ERA) to the mound to pitch against Randy Wolf (5-6, 4.79 ERA). The Mariners are having a down year. They are currently 30-43 and find themselves at the bottom of the American League West. They trail the Texas Rangers by 14 games. In the National League Central, the Brewers are in third place with a 33-40 record, and trail the Cincinnati Reds by 7 1/2 games.
