Thanksgiving 2010: Who Travels the Farthest?

Now that the holiday season is in full-swing, people travel great distances to visit (or run away from) their families. My office is already starting to look deserted. Some people started vacations last week. I think there will be about five people in my office today. We are fortunate that the holidays do not require us to travel great distances. We host Thanksgiving at our house, so travel is about 15 seconds. With a few exceptions, nobody really needs to come from any distance to spend the day with us.

I posed these same questions the last couple of years, but we have several new people here this time. Does anyone have any specific plans for Thanksgiving? Who will travel the greatest distance for the holiday?

Minor travel to a friend's for dinner. That's pretty much it Thanksgiving Day. I'll just be thankful that it 1) isn't icy and 2) would be nice if it wasn't pouring rain. :)
