2011: A Look Back
Around this time each December, I start reflecting upon the events of the last 12 months. Sometimes I attempt to oversimplify things and conveniently place each year into one of three piles. There's the good pile, the bad pile, and the indifferent pile. Every year features elements of all three, so it becomes difficult to clearly classify each 365 day period as one of those three options. Personally, I am eager to flip the calendar and welcome 2012 with open arms. Despite that, I don't want to diminish all of the good things that happened throughout 2011. So, without further ado, here are the events I will reminisce upon fondly from 2011.January
