Cereal Killer

During the waning days of January, I mentioned that Susan and I began watching Portlandia on IFC. The show features a number of quirky characters in ridiculous skits, but the other day we watched an episode that hit too close to home.

Here's the clip.

Yes, I'll confess. On occasion I'll enjoy a bowl of cereal as a dinner substitute. OK, probably significantly more than occasionally. How satisfying to grab a bowl of Lucky Charms or Cookie Crisp, grab a seat on the couch and watch a baseball game during the summer. Easy prep. Easy cleanup.

Seriously. Is anyone else with me?

not cereal, but I've been known to have microwave popcorn for dinner. Same kind of prep and clean up!

I consider a beer and conversation hearts a satisfying dinner.

I have cereal with blueberries for lunch every day while I watch Cash Cab! What a life!

Cereal for supper is the norm here. Personally, I prefer a big bowl of buttered popcorn, popped on the stove and a tall glass of milk.

I had Golden Grahams last night. I was too tired to make anything else. Easy comfort food.
