Looks Like This is the End

After an aggressive first period, the Chicago Blackhawks now trailing the Phoenix Coyotes 2-0 early in the third period of Game 6. With a loss tonight, the Blackhawks will have bowed out of the playoffs during the first round for their second consecutive season.

If the Blackhawks can manage to tie the game and send it into overtime, that'll mean that all six games of the opening series were settled during an extra period. Of course, the Blackhawks must dig themselves out of an incredible hole.

Here's hoping for a seventh game in Phoenix.

Game 1: Chicago at Phoenix (4/12) Loss 3-2
Game 2: Chicago at Phoenix (4/14) Win 4-3
Game 3: Phoenix at Chicago (4/17) Loss 3-2
Game 4: Phoenix at Chicago (4/19) Loss 3-2
Game 5: Chicago at Phoenix (4/21) Win 2-1
Game 6: Phoenix at Chicago (4/23 - 8 pm CDT)
Game 7: Chicago at Phoenix (4/25 - TBD) if needed

Bill: Making the playoffs is better than not making the playoffs, there is a team in Raleigh that haven't made the playoffs in three years.
