Baseball withdrawal - Part II
Back in late April, I mentioned that I was suffering from baseball withdrawal. I was glad to cut that stretch short with tickets to the Cubs/Padres game back in May. That Cubs win helped me through. The Cubs have been fantastic since that stretch. The White Sox have been up and down, but both teams are in first place in their respective divisions.
This week we are heading to Detroit to see the White Sox play the Tigers, and to Toronto to see the Cubs play interleague ball. During the off-season, when we purchased these tickets, I never imagined that we would be seeing two first place teams in action.
I love short weeks of work, especially when it's due to baseball.
