When Wednesday Feels Like Thursday

Tomorrow is my office's annual Cubs-fans-take-the-day-off-to-go-to-Wrigley-Field Day. As I mentioned before, we normally schedule this for a Friday. This year, we decided to purchase a Groupon for a Thursday afternoon game. As a result, I walked around all day thinking it was Thursday.

Wrong. It's was Wednesday all day long.

Regardless how you look at the situation, it's a short week. No problem there. Right now I'm wishing I scheduled an extra day off.

I hope you Bureaucrats are taking Annual Leave for this event and having the taxpayers in your city pay for it as regular salary. No wonder the State of Illinois is one of the worst off states in the Union financially.

Wow! I guess I'll never take another vacation day again. Cancel Christmas this year, I'm working that day.

Haha. I have no idea what you meant Bean, but I do know that you make Humzoo more entertaining.

Bill, glad you got to see a win. The Cubs have been doing a lot of that in the past couple weeks.

Would love to see a Cub/Yankee World Series someday because it would help baseball's image. The Cubs in the World Series would help the city get over the actions of a certain "Son".
