That game between the Houston Astros and Cubs held no such meaning. In fact, you could call it irrelevant. Both teams had lost a combined 207 games that season (Astros 106, Cubs 101). With all of that losing, why did I want to see that game? It was their final game the Astros played as a member of the National League. Since their inception in 1962, originally known as the Houston Colt .45s, they’d been a member of the Senior Circuit.
