With the warmer temperatures this weekend, I decided to clean off the driveway. When I finished, I decided it was time to build my first snow fort since 1984.

Very cool!! How did you make those block of snow? Did you use a mold?

Glad you asked. We have a plastic container that we use to store items for our compost bin. I figured since it was warm enough, I'd take some more out there. I left the container outside since I shoveled the final chunks of snow and ice off the driveway. Inspiration hit me, then I started using that container as a mold. Unfortunately, the sun took it's toll and my little fort didn't survive the entire day.

Nice job. I'll bet the neighborhood kids are jealous.

I don't see the stash of snowballs. You should have at least 20 premade for when the neighborhood kids attack.

I never grabbed a photo of the snowball supply. Also, I never grabbed a photo of the completed fort. Sadly, the temperature reached the upper 40s. Not much was left by the end of the day on Sunday.
