A seat detail.

Looks wonderful. One day I will get up there for a game. I've seen plenty in the 'dome'.

It's a great park. Make sure you get up there. It puts the Metrodome to shame. Oh wait, the Metrodome put itself to shame.

Great photos Bill. I live here and haven't been down to a game yet. I hear the parking is terrible so we've decided when we go, it will probably be on the light rail. I hope you enjoyed the game. The fans here were excited to have the new field. I think the "Dome" had run its course. And we Minnesotans are tough -- we love that cold weather :) (At least some Minnesotans do.)

We stayed at the W Hotel in the Foshay Tower, so we walked a few blocks. Guess I can't speak for the parking. There was a lot of talk surrounding why the Twins didn't build a park with a retractable dome like Milwaukee, Houston or other places. Rumor is that fans hated the Metrodome so much, they wanted nothing to do with any type of dome.

That - but I think mostly it was because of lack of funding. It's my understanding they could add one if the funding became available.

You're probably right. I'm sure that we weren't hearing the full story in Chicago.
