When the Washington Senators moved to Minnesota in 1961 and became the Twins, they didn't wait long to appear in the World Series. They lost in 1965 to the Los Angeles Dodgers.

It has been a long time between drinks for the Twins. The move in the 60s was financial as the one that will push the Nationals ot of Washington will be one day.

Remember, the Washington Nationals were the old Montreal Expos. If Strasburg turns out as good as expected, he could save the franchise from relocation.
