New Ways to Humzoo
We've got some new features to announce, but first congratulations to this week's photo contest winner stheinz (Steve Heinzel) for his creative and witty self-portrait. All the entries this week were very impressive, yet Steve managed to blow everyone away with 24 votes. Nice job Steve!

New Footer
We've updated the footer on the main Humzoo web site to make it easier to get around. As Humzoo has grown, we've added new features but haven't had a good way to link them from the home page. Those days are over, and now you can get to any part of the community, view recent photo contests and much more.

Humzoo Video RSS Feed
Now you can watch Humzoo Videos without coming to humzoo.com. We now have an RSS feed setup to display the last 100 videos added to Humzoo. You can subscribe to the feed by adding it to iTunes, your favorite RSS reader or even your AppleTV. The link is listed in the new footer and also available at: humzoo.com/rss/videos/
Humzoo Mobile
We are proud to announce the launch of Humzoo Mobile. We've built a "thinner" version of the site with fewer graphics to load faster on your mobile device. Currently we have tested the new site on the iPhone and Blackberry. You may access the site by clicking the "mobile" link in the new footer, or by visiting humzoo.com/mobile.

1) I am still at work and can't try it yet, but if I add the Humzoo RSS video feed in iTunes, will it download everyone's video?
2) Nevermind... I reread it.
3) When you subscribe to that URL in iTunes, it will list all available videos, but it will not automatically download all of them. I believe iTunes uses your settings in your preferences to determine how many to get. I just tried it out from scratch, and it didn't get any of them for me. I had to click the "GET" button next to a video to download it.
4) Thanks Dave. I'll try it tonight. It would be cool if I could load up my iPod with the freshest humzoo videos since I am not suppose to be on the Humzoo tubes while I am at work.
5) By default iTunes downloads the latest 5 podcasts/videos. If you have changed your settings of course its going to do whatever you told it too. This should be a good workaround for your "work" around Shoo. You can setup iTunes to only grab and keep the least X videos, X being the number you tell it. Let us know how it goes.
6) Note on the feed.... the release date is today and not the day it was uploaded to Humzoo.
7) Good catch Shoo, its fixed now.
8) Schweeet!
9) Hate to be the nagging tester, but at one point Humzoo had a default iPhone / touch icon. The main and mobile site don't have it anymore. Bug 456.
10) Thanks Shoo. Bug 456 has been squashed. Please reload.
11) Note: If your browse to Humzoo.com through your iPhone / touch and go to the Video RSS, you can open the feed and watch each video individually.
12) I love the new footer -- it makes it so much easier to get around! Good job, guys.
