Photo Contests are Back!
Dust off your camera, charge up the battery, have a breath mint... it's time once again for Humzoo Photo contests! That's right folks, by popular demand the contests are back in a bigger and better way. New rules, better tools, and best of all -- real prizes this time around! The contests have been redesigned to be more challenging than ever before. Be sure to check out the new rules, as they've changed a bit since last time, for the better we think. What's changed?
We've rebuilt several different components within Humzoo to make being part of the contests easier, more challenging and more rewarding.
For starters, entering a photo into a contest is now as simple as clicking a button (bye bye old tagging system). To keep things interesting we are now limiting each user to 3 entries per contest, so be creative! The early bird still gets the worm by taking precedence in a tie, so be sure to get your entries in early. We've also decided to run the contests a bit longer than usual - roughly two weeks. This should give everyone plenty of time to get out there and snap a few photos before the deadline. Also, we're planning to send out an email every time a new contest starts, so everyone knows at the same time when and what the contest is about.
We also wanted to make it easier for people to vote on their favorite entries. Voting can now be done in two places: on the user's site and also within the contest page.
And best of all, this time we're giving away a prize with each contest! All contest winners will receive a Humzoo Gift Card, which is good for a free Humdinger upgrade (they also make great gifts!). We'll contact contest winners to obtain their information within 3 days of the close of each contest.

Shoot Your Self
The time has come for you to shoot your self. We only mean that in the most amicable way, with a camera of course. Humzoo wants to see you in front of the camera in this contest. Be creative and have a great time with it. Find a unique backdrop, use a mirror, get some help from a friend if need be. Oh, we can't give away all our secrets. Let's see what you've got, Humzoo!

One question: It says the prize is valid to US residents only. Could you email the humdinger code to your overseas participants? I'm just asking since I'm sure my father-in-law would enjoy getting into the contests again.

Question: The photos can be manipulated correct?...For example...colored on, digitally altered, etc.......or do they have to be just of ourselves with a neat backdrop?
