Humzoo Turns Two

It's really hard to believe, Humzoo is two years old! Two years ago today we had no idea how far we'd get, but we're proud to say that Humzoo is running stronger than ever before.

We're constantly amazed at how close-knit the Humzoo community has become. Humzoo continues to be a growing group of bloggers, photographers and videographers that enjoy sharing their lives with others. This year we were happy to re-introduce Humzoo contests, with the addition of videos, and a sense of competition and good-clean rivalry has returned to the site.

We're very excited about some of the new features that were released over the past year. Some off those include the return of photo and video contests, high-resolution photos, file sharing in blogs, video subscriptions, grouping of related content, and two of our personal favorites, the tag cloud and multi-photo loader!

The growth over the past year has been incredible. The total content on the site has almost doubled across the board. Blogs slowed down a little but that accounts for the unprecedented increase in Blurbs, which were released at the end of 2008. Video uploads this year surpassed that of the first year. New faces, site visits and site feedback all continue to grow steadily.


We want to personally thank everyone for the support and encouragement we've received over the past two years. Without everyone's support, Humzoo would not be what it is today. It's no secret that Humzoo would be nowhere near it's current success without it's outstanding grassroots community and corresponding word-of-mouth advertisement. Your kind feedback and encouraging words have been inspiration for us. We're looking forward to another great year!

One more thing...
