4) I agree--these are awesome. Totally unique and different too--no one would have anything like it. Hard to imagine it being so detailed and yet so small.
5) Thanks! These have been created for a show in Flat Rock, NC, opening on Friday, called "Honey I Shrunk the Art!" I'm calling the series "All Tied Up." I was inspired by the old 1950's red formica table and chairs that Bob (and Nancy!) grew up with that are now down in my studio. (Hopefully, these will be finished and up on Humzoo by Friday.) I am using enamel on those and have had numerous problems getting them to work. I found myself getting so "tied up" in the replication being perfect that I lost my creative flair. After a day in another, AWESOME jeweler's studio, I came back, vibrating with renewed energy and wrapped all the chairs and tied and funkied them up. Now I think I've got it.
6) Yes, you've definitely got it, Pegi!!!!!!!!! You go!!!!! And it's so funny....when I was looking at Bob's pictures of your chairs, I was thinking of those wonderful old red kitchen chairs. Wow!!!!!!!
10) Dannie, I do have some ideas titled, "and baby makes three" - we'll see where it goes.
Thank you, Sallypants. Can't wait to get them all finished and on the "stage" that Bobbie built.
