Butterfly Release

We decided to release the butterflies yesterday, and we couldn't have picked a better day!
The last look at the butterfly house:

Lexi opening the house to release them:

Halle helping Lexi- the butterflies wouldn't come out. We had to reach in there and pick-up the butterflies.

This one was on my hand for about 5 minutes, I eventually gave it to one of the girls so I could take pictures.

We had so much fun releasing the butterflies. We held them for about 10 - 15 minutes before they all flew away.

1) Awesome. As pretty as they are to look at in the house, they are even more beautiful where they are intended in the yard and woods. And what a great experience for the girls. Thanks for sharing!

2) Very Cool...my childhood was spent killing ants....I think this would have been more productive.
