Since Brian is out of town I've been keeping busy with working on the house. My goal has been to do one room at a time, every night. Saturday my mother and sister came over to help me clean and pack. My sister and I worked on my second bedroom, this has been the 'random crap' room for the past year or so. We went through all of the crap- threw stuff away, gave stuff to the goodwill, and packed the rest. It's amazing how much crap one person can accumulate over five years, and thanks to my mother, I have inherited her pack rat tendencies. Luckily, Brian is not a pack rat so he has started to drill in my head to get rid of stuff. The room is now where all of the boxes are going to go when I'm working on the rest of the house. Sunday I ran errands and did laundry so I didn't work on the house. Tonight my goal was to pack the living room, since there is really only the couch and the t.v. in the living room there wasn't much to pack so I asked my sister to come over and help me paint. Brian and I had intended to paint the living room a couple of weeks ago but things came up and we didn't get around to it. I wanted to make sure it was done before he got back home so that is one less thing we have to do. We painted the room the same color as the bedroom so we could use the left over paint. It turned out really nice, thanks monica for helping!
