Ethan: The Over-Thanker

Ethan is just about the sweetest 3 year old I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. He thanks me profusely for every single meal I set before him even if he totally hates the food. It's really sweet.

Sometimes at night, after I read three poems, a chapter from a book and sing 2-5 songs, he thanks me for everything I did for him that day. And it just melts my heart. "Thank you, Mommy. Thank you for everything." And one day recently, he added a little extra, "Thank you for me."

You're welcome, sweetheart. My pleasure.

8) I've loved Ethan Heinzel from the moment Courtney gave birth to him, and this just makes my smile even bigger for him. Ethan is why I've raised Galvin in a similar manner, and he is totally thankful for just about everything, too. Plus, I get hugs and kisses and "I love you, Mommas" every day.

So thank you to Ethan for my Galvin...you're one of a kind! Oh, and good job Courtney--your Mom should be proud.
