Ethan's Writing

Here's a list of groceries we bought this weekend. Ethan was my helper. When I bring a kid, I usually have them take a notebook and pen/pencil for entertainment. Ethan decided to make a list of everything we bought. He only asked me for help in deciding between c/k and c/s. For the last two, he copied from the package.

Here's our list:

bnana (bananas)
carit (carrots)
blone (bologna)
toit papr (toilet paper)
milk
ham
bakin (bacon)
sop (soup)
brid (bread)
srup (syrup)
crackr (crackers)
postu (pasta)
techos (tissues)
sos (sauce)
oj (oj-for orange juice)
pesu (pizza)
cofee (coffee)
tatos (tattoos...for Valentine's Day)
cord (cards)
crisco
granulated sugar

Now he's writing a story about getting his foot stuck on the escalator and Daddy leaving him behind.

8) Way to go, Ethan! God, I feel so inadequate as a mother...Galvin still makes his Gs backwards and calls all letters, numbers. *sigh*
