When Make-Believe Goes Too Far

Ethan has been quietly building a computer with his Duplos. He proudly displayed his carefully put-together keyboard. After looking up, Dave noticed Ethan's nose was running and told him to blow his nose. Ethan said, "I just have some tissues over here," and he patted next to his leg. Dave clearly wasn't paying much attention because he told Ethan to use one. Ethan pretended to pick up an invisible tissue. He held it to his nose. And then he blew snot into his hand.

Only the snot...it wasn't make-believe.

1) Dude, our family is so snotty right now. And I'm probably the worst. But Ethan will let his nose run all the way down to his lip, then he'll lick it clean. I just had to pause writing this comment to blow my nose. It's ridiculous. Humzoo has literally made me ill. But still I lie in bed and browse on my iPhone, and leave comments that contain several misspelled words. Oh well.

6) Shoo - I was totally hoping that was a sketch from some show and that DeNiro was going to go crazy and somehow beat the crap out of Elmo. I don't know who decided that Elmo should have a loud, irritating voice and grating laugh, but it is about the worst thing ever forced upon society. Right under Jar Jar Binks.
