Blurbs stick around for 7 days.
I have over 15 passwords I have to use at work. Because of that, I have to write them down on my wall and saved to a file on my computer in case I have to work from home. Defeats the purpose.

1) Yep. We have people at our office who can't manage 3 without having to have them reset every other week.

2) I think what is especially irritating is that many of these are passwords for things inside the company, and they have different requirements. Therefore, I couldn't possibly use the same password for different programs. Plus, some of them change periodically, and some of them never change.

3) If you are like me you might have a few that aren't used enough to keep them fresh in your mind. I try not to grumble about a forgotten password when someone uses the program 3 times a year but when it is something they just put in 2 weeks ago, I tend to get grumpy. I usually tell people if they must save them to put them in their email box--about as safe as it gets other than a personal folder that you only have access to. Better than constantly having to get them reset. We have several passwords for various areas but I think most adhere to the same guidelines so technically people COULD use the same one frequently.

4) Fun fact: the top two passwords used are "123456" and "password".

5) I had one I had to set recently that I was so grumpy about, I just made it "stupid."

6) It sounds like your company's password complexity requirements are just over the top!

7) 15 seems excessive. I don't even think our IT people have that many!

8) I usually use the same one online for various things - Bill hates that.
