Dave took me to the Homecoming dance in the fall of 1992. You have no idea how hard it was to get the panty hose underneath that ankle bracelet. Also, that dress was made out of flannel. I was still wearing children's sizes, so I had my mom custom-make my dress.

4) Dave might have been even dorkier than I was in high school, but at least you had the heart to go to the dance with him anyway.

6) It's a good story:

Dave tried talking to me in 5th grade (when we met) and I was really mean to him. I believe the specific quote was, "You're ugly; leave me alone."

He bugged me all the way up to 8th grade when I finally started talking to him. We became friends, but my boyfriend hated him like crazy.

Sometime in the summer before 9th grade, I kissed Dave on the cheek. So, we started "going out."

I believe I broke up with him at least once during our freshman year. Dude was crazy! He was writing me notes about the kind of house we were going to live in when we were married. We stayed friends somehow. We probably only "dated" for a month or something in high school.

After both of us exploring our lives, attending college (only one of us graduating) and moving out of state and moving back, Dave and I finally got together again.

The End

7) That's quite a photo. You have to give Dave credit for individuality with the Nikes. You both look really young and cute together.
