5) We're finally settled into the tent for the evening. Had a snafu with the zipper, but it's all better. There is an extension cord running from the house to the tent, because I don't go anywhere with my 120 volts. We will be watching movies and downloading music all night long. Aw yeah!

Ethan is super excited about it so far. He's playing with his little suitcase now -- opening and closing it over and over. He's also talking to arf arf.

9) Just posted a new photo. Oh, and Denny - I forgot to mention to you a small change I made to some Humzoo code. On the function that turns a unix timestamp to an English timestring, if the "short date" parameter (the second one) is set to true, and the item is less than one minute ago, it will return "just now" instead of "less than 1 minute ago." I was working on some stuff and realized that the longer string didn't fit into some places very well. Anyway, might as well leave it here in a comment unless anyone else noticed that change. It affects the home page center comment column - not sure where else right now.

10) That sounds good. I just deleted the file for the front page of the site. There were some places it just "didn't fit". I like it better now. 404 is the new 311, but used to be the old 911-10-4-9er buddy-row.

I have some good news and some bad news. I am working on FFMPEG some more tonight, trying to get that crazy ol' H.264 encoding working again. Good news, I got it compiled with H.264 support and working... bad news, not for FLV's yet. But what you learned the other day with the m4v files that might be ok right, cause that totally works?

In other words, should I keep going to try to get it to work with flv's again or stop now?

Ethan, zip your sleeping bag up tight dude. I saw a couple dragons in your backyard when I was there, you don't want those things to crawl in with you while you are sleeping.

25) We did. We also had h264 encoding working when we launched videos and when I upgraded FFMPEG to support 3GP it broke H264 encoding, which is what the entire filesize and bitrate model were based on from the beginning. Its not us though, its ffmpeg. Its a known bug and we are at the mercy of them. But for the time being I am going to roll it back a few versions to get the h264 encoding working along with decoding all the other codecs we advertise to support. 3GP will be added back in, sorry for the wait. It might be tomorrow before I can get it fixed but I'll get it in place soon.

In the meantime please don't use youtube, vimeo, myspace, facebook or excite.com. Thanks.

Anyway, I reprocessed your vids for the worldz to seez. I think you could have gone a couple extra miles dude, you didn't really look that tired in the last video.

27) Just woke up and thought it was probably almost daybreak. Not so much. Ethan is sleeping much better than myself though.

28) Just woke up again and would have sworn it was getting lighter outside. But it's only 3 am. Awesome :) Ethan is still sleeping like a log.
