Movie Extras Needed! I'm working with a group of students on a movie that was for Apple's Insomnia Film Festival. Apple postponed the contest last night, but we are pushing on and will film the movie as planned. The story depends on the season, so by the time the real contest rolls around, it will no longer be relevant.
We need your help! This Saturday we are filming the "big" scene. We need as many extras as possible to be part of an angry mob scene. The weather will be cold, but we won't keep you for long. You should be on your way home in under an hour, likely sooner.
If you are interested, please show up at Springfield High School on Saturday morning (November 15th) at 9:45 A.M. We'd like to start shooting at 10:00.
We will meet on the East side of the building - the side that faces downtown. This is all happening outside, so please do not try to enter the school. If you need more information or have questions, please call me at 217/816-6297.
After that scene, we will be heading downtown to shoot some additional scenes. If anyone is interested, you are more than welcome to follow us and be extras in those shots as well. Bring a fluffy coat though - 'cause it's gonna be cold!
