When we moved into the house over a year ago, we immediately tore down a wall that used to be here. It was easier to do it then before we were settled, but I didn't have time to finish the job. Finally now I'm back on the project.

The main holdup was that I wanted to put a couple of recessed lights into the little box that drops down out of the ceiling. Inside this box are several electric lines and a drain for the upstairs bathrooms. But there's room in there for a couple lights, I just had to make it work.
