I cut and assembled all the pieces in the garage. I could have put them up one by one and worked with it on the ceiling, but I had to make a couple circle cutouts for the lights. I figured it'd be easier to do that and the painting in the garage without reaching up the whole time. I glued each plank, snapped them together and built a temporary rig to keep them flat and tight. I left it like this for about 8 hours, and it was rock solid.
